Table Graces

We are grateful for this food.
For those who made it, and for those with whom we share it.
May we walk with grace
And may the light of the universe light our path. Amen.

The food we are about to eat is the fruit of many hands and creatures.
We are grateful for it and bless it.
May it give us strength, health and joy,
and may it increase our appreciation of one another
of family, and all humanity. Amen

For health and strength and daily food, we give thanks. Amen

Here at the table now we pray,
keep us together day by day.
May this our family circle be
held fast by love and unity. Amen.

A circle of friends is a blessed thing.
Sweet is the breaking of bread with friends.
For the honor of their presence at our table
we are deeply grateful. Amen.

May the love that is in my heart pass from my hand to yours.

Food is the basis of life. When we nourish one another,
we sustain our bodies and feed each other’s spirits.
Let us give and receive this food with thanks and
for this great gift. Amen.

One more day to serve, one more hour to love, one more moment to praise.
For all of these we are grateful. Amen.

I thank you God for this most amazing day:
for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite, which is yes.

May God, like a mother eagle,
spread the wings of her love and protection over us
throughout this night and always. Amen

May we do what we can each day as well as possible;
And then may we be at peace, knowing the rest is out of our hands.

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wildflower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.

Arise my beloved, my fair one and come away
For lo, the winter is past.
Flowers appear on the earth.
The time of singing is here.
The song of the turtle is heard in the land.

Albert Einstein once said. “There are two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
Today, let us celebrate the miracle.

May the longtime sun shine upon us, and all love surround us
And the sweet light within us guide us on our way.

Let us go around the table now and each of us tell about one blessing we received today, And one we gave away.

As we gather for a shared meal, we are grateful for this sacred circle of family and friends. May we widen and deepen the circle by reaching out to others with love and understanding.

As we receive this gift of food, let us remember to be grateful
for all the unsolicited and unearned gifts that we received today. Amen.

Peace to you my brothers and sisters.
May the peace that begins with us go forth to bless all the world. Amen

For all these gifts, give one more; a grateful heart. Amen

A circle of friends is a blessed thing.
Sweet is the breaking of bread with friends.
For the honor of their presence at our table,
we are deeply grateful. Amen
